Love Notifier ("the App") is a relationship and communication application developed by KineticX Labs.
This Privacy Policy explains how Love Notifier accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.
We aim to collect and process only the information necessary to provide the App's pairing, messaging, notification, and relationship features.
2. Information We Collect
Anonymous Account Identifier
Love Notifier uses Firebase Authentication with anonymous authentication. When the App connects to Firebase, an anonymous Firebase user identifier (UID) may be created for the device/session.
This identifier is used to associate your device with your Love Notifier connection and related application data. It is not intended to identify you by your real-world name.
Pairing Information
When you use the pairing feature, the App may process:
- A six-character pairing code.
- The Firebase identifiers of paired users.
- Pairing and connection timestamps.
- Relationship type selected during pairing.
Messages and Love Actions
When you send a message or relationship action through the App, the information required to deliver that action may be transmitted to our backend service.
This may include:
- Messages entered by you.
- Actions such as "Thinking of You", "Send a Kiss", "Good Night", hugs, cuddles, flowers, and similar actions.
- Your configured sender name, if provided.
- Your pairing code.
- Information required to identify the receiving paired device.
Push Notification Information
If push notifications are enabled, Love Notifier may process a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token so that notifications can be delivered to the appropriate paired device.
The FCM token is stored in connection-related Firebase data and is associated with the Firebase user identifier for notification delivery.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The App may store certain settings and application information locally on your device, including preferences, notification state, pairing-related information, display preferences, heart color, theme, font, background, action history, and statistics.
Information stored only on your device is not automatically sent to our servers merely because it is stored locally.
3. How We Use Information
Information processed by Love Notifier may be used to:
- Create and maintain anonymous app authentication.
- Create and manage paired relationships.
- Allow users to connect using a pairing code.
- Deliver messages and relationship actions to a paired user.
- Deliver push notifications to a paired device.
- Maintain application functionality and settings.
- Protect the service and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Maintain the security and reliability of the App.
4. Information Sharing
Love Notifier does not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or other third parties.
Information may be processed by service providers required to operate the App.
Firebase / Google Services
Love Notifier uses Firebase services for functionality such as anonymous authentication, database storage, and push notification delivery.
Information processed through these services may include anonymous identifiers, pairing information, connection data, messages/actions required for the App's functionality, and notification tokens.
Our Backend Service
Love Notifier uses a backend service operated for the App to process pairing-related requests and deliver messages or relationship actions between paired users.
The backend receives only information necessary to perform the requested functionality.
Legal Requirements
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, or lawful government requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of the App, its users, or others.
5. Third-Party Services
Love Notifier uses third-party infrastructure and SDKs, including Firebase services provided by Google.

6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by Love Notifier against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Data transmitted between the App and supported online services is intended to use secure network connections such as HTTPS/TLS where supported.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain online data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the features of Love Notifier, maintain the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Locally stored application settings and history remain on your device until they are removed by you, cleared by the operating system, or removed by the App.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the technical requirements of the service.
8. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of information associated with your Love Notifier use by contacting us at the email address provided below.
When a valid deletion request is received, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify applicable information that we control, subject to information that must be retained to satisfy legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate obligations.
Unpairing a relationship removes the pairing relationship from the user's active use of the App, but it should not be interpreted as a request to permanently delete all information associated with an account.

9. Children's Privacy
Love Notifier is not designed specifically for children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe that a child has provided information to us in a way that violates applicable requirements, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
10. Your Choices
You may choose whether to use pairing and messaging features.
You may also control notification permissions through your device's Android settings where applicable.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Love Notifier's features, services, or data practices change.
When changes are made, the updated policy will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be changed accordingly.
